"This whole thing reminded me of an incident that happened a couple of years ago when former Texas Governor Rick Perry censored a report on climate change because it didn’t fall in line with the right-wing propaganda that “climate change is a hoax.” Many Republicans are literally ignoring overwhelmingly accepted scientific facts because they don’t support what they want to be real and what these big oil companies are essentially paying them to say."
